Thoughts on WHMCS 5.2

We are running a Windows based shared hosting services and have been taking orders manually and setting them up inside WebsitePanel. We are now considering WHMCS to take orders on-line and setting up accounts manually or approving accounts manually within an hour.

1. Does this sound like a good idea?
2. What are your thoughts on WHMCS 5.2?

We plan on using stripe.com to take credit card payments, is this a good option? I've heard of bad and good with PayPal, 2CO, etc.
